Build your first ICP

Turn a short intake and a few materials into a structured Ideal Customer Profile.

Start a new ICP

From the Scope dashboard, click New ICP and give it a name you will recognize later, like the segment or product it covers.

Add your materials

Paste your website, upload a deck, or drop a note about a deal you are proud of. Scope reads these to ground the profile in your real business, not a template.

Answer the guided intake

A handful of plain questions: who buys, what problem you solve, what a good-fit account looks like. Short answers are fine.

Review the draft profile

Scope writes a structured profile: firmographics, the buyer, the trigger, the message angle. Read it and correct anything that does not match what you see in the market.

Save and publish

Save the ICP. It becomes the shared target the rest of the suite reads, so you only describe your customer once.
